Pop culture blog of writer ERIC WALLACE. Miracles out of nowhere upon request.
Hi Eric, I'm wondering what inspirations you look to when you're writing Deathstroke. You mentioned in an interview I think that you're drawing from grand guignol, which seems to be popping up in live theatre all over the place. I just saw this blog piece on the Most Dangerous Gamehttp://doctor-k100.blogspot.com/2010/10/halloween-countdown-day-2-bloodlust.html The big game hunter villain in that story always made me think of Slade. What are your models, if any, for him?
Hi, ToB: I haven't forgotten about your question. In fact, it was so good that I got carried away with my answer. Look for on the DC Source blog (hopefully) soon! As always, I'll let everyone know via this blog when it goes up. I hope you enjoy it!
Hi Eric, Thanks, I'll be sure to check out the Source. I was one of Tara Markov's original fans, so I have no soft spot in my heart for Deathstroke. But your work on him (and the other characters) has me intrigued. The labyrinth is an interesting pressure cooker environment.
FYI: It's up now... see my latest post for the link.
